Peugeot sales ahead of expectations

PSA Peugeot Citroen, Europe’s second biggest car maker, beat analyst estimates for first-quarter revenue as delivery growth in China and Latin America limited a decline caused by a recession in its home region.

Peugeot reported sales of €13 billion. This represented a drop of 6.5 per cent on the previous year, but exceeded analyst estimates.
