The Peugeot 2008 crossover has gone on sale in Ireland, with a starting price of €18,595 (excluding delivery charges) to compete with the Nissan Juke, Opel Mokka, Renault Captur and other compact crossover cars based on regular small hatchbacks. The 2008 shares 65 per cent of its components with the Peugeot 2008 hatch.

Three trim levels are offered to Irish buyers, from entry-level Access, through the likely best-selling Active specification, to the luxurious Allure model. The 2008 Access features...
