Petrol prices set to keep rising as oil remains high

Irish motorists cannot expect any respite in the latest increases in the cost of fuel, according to AA Ireland.

According to the AA’s figures, the average price of a litre of petrol in Ireland is 105.5 cent, an increase of almost 3 cent on the February average of 102.6 cent a litre. Diesel now costs an average of 104. 2cent a litre, up from 102.4 cent a litre last month.
