Petroceltic unfazed by Algerian strife

Irish oil and gas company Petroceltic is continuing with its ambitious Algerian operation despite the hostage crisis in the country, it is understood.

Irish oil and gas company Petroceltic is continuing with its ambitious Algerian operation despite the hostage crisis in the country, it is understood.

According to a spokesman, Petroceltic remained committed to developing a huge gas find in southern Algeria and foresaw no adverse impact on its operations in the country. The spokesman would make no further comment.
