Exploration company Petroceltic is eyeing up a move into Libya, following its takeover last week of the British firm Melrose Resources.
Exploration company Petroceltic is eyeing up a move into Libya, following its takeover last week of the British firm Melrose Resources. The enlarged company also intends to increase its operations in the gas-rich country of Kurdistan, according to chief executive Brian O'Cathain.
The Petroceltic boss said the company would continue to target the Middle East, north Africa and the Mediterranean. However, he specifically named Libya as a target for expansion.
