Irish oil and gas company Petroceltic said its production was above expectations at 25.2 million barrels of oil equivalent (mboepd) in the first half of the year as it steps up plans to boost its market profile in Dublin and London.

The Middle East and African focused company had previously guided that working interest production would be in a range between 21 and 23 mboepd.
