American workers are spending thousands of dollars a year on lunch and coffee, according to a recent study. The survey from American recruitment firm Accounting Principals found that one in two American workers spend more than $20 a week on coffee, an average of approximately $1,000 a year.

The research also revealed that two thirds of American workers opt to buy their lunch on work days, instead of bringing a packed lunch...
