Most consumers who switch product or service provider will save money, with insurance switching yielding the biggest savings, according to research by the National Consumer Agency (NCA).

According to the NCA's latest switching data, 85 per cent of consumers who switched product or service provider in the previous year said they had saved money. Some 95 per cent of those who switched car insurance saved money, with an average saving of €102. Home insurance switching...
