Ireland's biggest mortgage lender, Permanent TSB, is preparing to offer new incentives to borrowers to make lump sum payments on their home loans, the bank has confirmed.

PTSB is considering a range of inducements to encourage ongoing payments and rapid clearance of principal amounts.
