Strict labour laws do not always serve employees. Those with less than 12 months service, for example, have few rights and are unable to secure compensation for unfair treatment.

Big companies need wise managers to obviate the potential impact where harsh or unfavourable employee treatment occurs. Without this, such behaviour can have an adverse effect on their reputation among customers and potential employees.
