Sometimes it is not a great idea to fail to engage directly with an employer when addressing workplace problems. This was a lesson learned recently by Lucan-based lingerie salesman Mark Maher.

Maher started working as a national sales manager for a British lingerie firm in 2003. He was Sheffield-based Panache Lingerie's only Irish-based employee, and later became the company's general manager and sales executive director.
