Pentech raises €57m for software investment

Glasgow-based venture capital firm Pentech has raised a new stg£45 million (€57 million) fund for investment in Britain and Ireland.

Glasgow-based venture capital firm Pentech has raised a new stg£45 million (€57 million) fund for investment in Britain and Ireland.

Founding partner Eddie Anderson said the fund’s sole focus would be on the software sector. This is the second fund Pentech has raised, following the 2002 closure of a £22.3 million fund, which invested in Irish firms such as Automsoft and Aircraft Management Technologies.
