Owens DDB's new cinema advertisement for the Pensions Board, modelled on The Blair Witch Project, has been deemed too scary to be used during children's features.

The ad will be launched in cinemas nationwide on October 21 and targets the younger Irish people who may not already have a pension.

Owens DDB said the ad was made at a modest cost using the services of Piranha Bar and a real Hollywood voiceover artist named Bob Dunsworth.
