Paypal to cut up to 400 jobs worldwide

PayPal is cutting as many as 400 jobs from its global workforce. It is not known whether this will affect any of the 1,400 staff it employs in Ireland.

Paypal is to cut up to 400 jobs

PayPal is cutting as many as 400 jobs, or about 3 per cent of the workforce, according to a person with knowledge of the plans.

The company, which employs 1,400 people in Dublin, is eliminating jobs primarily in its product and technology groups, according to the person, who asked not to be named because the plans are private.
