Pay talks: IMO says progress made but no agreement yet

The IMO has said no agreement has yet been reached on many of the critical issues in its talks as LRC boss Kieran Mulvey says he sees agreement in principle with ten unions.

Labour Relations Commission chief executive Kieran Mulvey has said that he believes agreement in principle has been reached with ten unions.

The Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) has said no agreement has yet been reached on many of the critical issues in its talks with the government on the revised public service agreement but that “progress has been made on some important matters.”

It hopes to secure an agreement that it will put to its members “in the coming weeks”, it said.
