A money advice service has complained to the Financial Regulator that a pawnbroker was running its business from the same premises as a mortgage broker.

The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (Mabs), which offers advice to people in debt, expressed concern that the pawnbroker, Cash Converters Retail Solutions (CC Retail), operated from the same head office as the mortgage broker, Cash Converters Financial Services (CC Financial).
