Three years ago today Enda Kenny was elected Taoiseach and his government approved by the Dail. Last week, the government held a sunny press conference and gave over three days of Dail debates to consider its record and talk about its plans for the future.

Kenny's government has, on balance, been a successful administration in its first three years. What is the basis for this judgment? Because it has achieved its two most important aims.
