Pat Delaney to chair new state training agency
Former IBEC executive Pat Delaney is to be appointed as chairperson of SOLAS, the new State training agency that replaces FAS, Education Minister Ruairi Quinn said today.
Former IBEC executive Pat Delaney is to be appointed as chairperson of SOLAS, the new State training agency that replaces FAS, Education Minister Ruairi Quinn said today.
As well as working for employers' group IBEC, Delaney is a former director of the Small Firms Association.
His appointment to SOLAS is subject to approval by the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection.
