Passenger numbers at Dublin Airport are up by almost 10 per cent for the first two months of 2014.

An extra 210,000 passengers - on both inbound and outbound flights - used the airport during January and February, traditionally seen as the off-peak travel season.

Flights between Britain and Ireland - a mature and established market - jumped by 15 per during the same period, compared to last year.
