Passenger numbers at Dublin airport increased by 6 per cent to 20.2 million in 2013, according to the Dublin Airport Authority.

Passenger numbers at Dublin airport increased by 6 per cent to 20.2 million in 2013, according to the Dublin Airport Authority’s (DAA) financial results for 2013, which were released today.

Traffic at Cork Airport declined by 3.5 per cent to 2.3 million last year.

The decline in Cork was due to “weakness in the local market, coupled with a consolidation in services from Cork to Central Europe”.
