Partners nailing down a niche in beauty industry

Susan Quinlan and Derval Magann launched their home beauty therapy company, Amyvie, in 2005.

The pair met while completing a two-year course at Coogan Bergin Clinic & College of Beauty Therapy in Dublin.

They decided in their first year that they wanted to work together. Quinlan carried out some research which revealed that beauty treatments during parties in the home were a growing business in the United States, but had yet to be tried in Ireland.
