Participation was the big theme at last week’s Irish Sponsorship Summit, placing the spotlight on this area of the marketing mix, which has an estimated value of €125 million.

Speakers told the conference in the Aviva Stadium that they expected interest in sponsorship to grow as recession eased, and brands sought out more ways to help consumers get involved with things that interested them.
