Parker Green lodges appeal over plans for Waterford centre

Parker Green, the property company headed by the Newry tycoon Gerard O'Hare, has lodged an appeal to An Bord Pleanála after the local authority in Waterford city stymied its plans for a large-scale shopping centre.

The property firm has attempted to build a major shopping outlet on the grounds of the old Waterford Crystal playing fields in Waterford for some years, first seeking planning permission in 2006.
