Panda subsidiary to expand into China

A firm owned by Irish waste company Panda has secured a contract to supply recycled paper worth €500,000 to one of the largest paper mills in China.

A firm owned by Irish waste company Panda has secured a contract to supply recycled paper worth €500,000 to one of the largest paper mills in China.

Panda's wholly-owned subsidiary Irish Packaging Recycling Ltd (IPR) has been trading directly with China since 2008 immediately after acquiring an export licence for recycled material to China.

Confirming the deal with Wuxi Longchen Paper Co Ltd, Panda said that the latest contract meant that IPR now had 15 customers...
