Paddy Power has advised customers who had an account with them in 2010 of a massive data breach resulting in the theft of personal details of nearly 650,000 people.

Paddy Power has advised customers who had an account with them in 2010 of a massive data breach resulting in the theft of personal details of nearly 650,000 people, 120,000 of which were Irish customers.

The company said no financial information or customer passwords were stolen in the hacking incident and that the investigation into the breach showed no evidence that customers’ accounts were adversely impacted.
