James Osborne, the former chairman of Independent News and Media (INM), who was ousted from the board of the company last week, has spoken of his disappointment with Denis O'Brien's nominee, Paul Connolly.
O'Brien, who is INM's largest shareholder with 29.9 per cent of the company, sealed Osborne's fate by voting against his re-election.
