Ormond Quay site put back on market

Dublin City Council has had to put back out to tender a site at 31-36 Upper Ormond Quay, which was to be developed by Pierse Contracting.

Dublin City Council has had to put back out to tender a site at 31-36 Upper Ormond Quay, which was to be developed by Pierse Contracting. The company had won the tender to develop the site in 2004 after a decision was made to dispose of it by the council.

Pierse then sought permission for a 98-bedroom hotel on the 1,230 square metre site, which was originally earmarked for use as a family court.
