Origin sees revenue slip 12.5% in quarter

Agri services group Origin said that revenue fell 12.5 per cent to €307 million in the three months to the end of October, compared to the same period last year.

Agri services group Origin said that revenue fell 12.5 per cent to €307 million in the three months to the end of October, compared to the same period last year.

The company said that its performance in the seasonally quiet first quarter of its 2014 financial year was “satisfactory” and in line with expectations.

Origin said that an underlying revenue decrease of 7.9 per cent was principally driven by lower global fertiliser and feed prices....
