Origin EPS ahead of forecasts

Irish-listed agri-services group Origin Enterprises has reported a drop in its net profit for the 2011 business year because of a 3.1 million euro loss from discountinued operations.

However its earnings per share were ahead of forecasts, according to Goodbody Stockbrokers, reflecting better performance in its operations in Britain.
