O’Reilly-backed internet firm has losses of €19m

Limerick internet firm PrimeLearning, which is 20 per cent owned by Independent News & Media (IN&M), had accumulated losses of €19 million at the end of February last.

Limerick internet firm PrimeLearning, which is 20 per cent owned by Independent News & Media (IN&M), had accumulated losses of €19 million at the end of February last.

The e-learning company, in which IN&M chairman Tony O’Reilly also has a personal stake, had a deficit of almost €4 million on its shareholders’ funds at the end of the financial year. It had just over €5,000 in the bank at the end of the year....
