Martin Territt, director of the European Commission Representation in Dublin, should not get involved in Ireland’s referendum debate on the Lisbon Treaty by writing partisan articles on the treaty (24/2/08).

The EU Commission for which Territt works is not a party to Lisbon. It has, however, considerable interest in getting the treaty ratified for, if that happens, the commission would gain extensive extra powers, most obviously by being given the monopoly of proposing EU...
