Cinderella may be notoriously late for big events, but her appearance at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin next Saturday may raise eyebrows among those who think she has arrived early for this year’s pantomime season.

But they needn’t worry: this Cinderella (La Cenerentola) is Gioacchino Rossini’s famous opera, one of two major productions in Opera Ireland’s spring season which runs from April 22 to 30.
