Only Irish Ford GT sold for €270k

Tallaght Ford has sold the only Ford GT allocated to Ireland under a Europe-wide lottery to a Dublin buyer who paid €270,000 for the car.

Tallaght Ford has sold the only Ford GT allocated to Ireland under a Europe-wide lottery to a Dublin buyer who paid €270,000 for the car. The new GT is a modern interpretation of Ford’s Le Mans-winning GT 40. It is powered by a 5.4 litre V8 engine which produces 500bhp and 774Nm torque.

The engine has twin injectors per cylinder and an Eaton supercharger. Top speed is over 330km/h and the car should reach 100km/h...
