Online job ads are rising, report says.

The number of jobs advertised online rose four per cent in the first quarter of this year, according to recruitment website IrishJobs.ie.

The website's jobs index for the first quarter of 2012 has reversed a six-month decreasing trend in the previous two quarters.

Headline gains were made in production, manufacturing and materials (+82 per cent), in science, pharmaceuticals and food (+52 per cent)and banking and finance (+30%).
