Online advertising spend shot up by 54 per cent to €3.2 million in the first two months of 2006.

Online advertising spend shot up by 54 per cent to €3.2 million in the first two months of 2006.

Online still only accounts for 1 per cent of overall spend, but the growth in the medium by far outranks the broader market. Cinema spend was up 24 per cent at €1.75 million, television up 19.5 per cent at €48 million and outdoor up 18 per cent at €21.8 million.

Radio was up 16 per cent at €21.4 million.
