One third of Google profit reported in Irish accounts

The Irish subsidiary of internet search giant Google accounted for one third of the corporate giant’s total worldwide revenue last year.

The Irish subsidiary of internet search giant Google accounted for one third of the corporate giant’s total worldwide revenue last year.

Google Ireland had revenue of €1.6 billion last year, accounting for almost 34 per cent of Google’s total revenue of €4.75 billion ($6.1 billion) in 2005.

The Irish firm was set up three years ago and employs more than 1,000 people in Dublin.
