A young Irish entrepreneur has launched a new website that she hopes will become a one-stop shop for people using spas in Ireland.

Alison Bell is behind SpaIreland.com, an independent site that provides information and booking services for about 25 spas and 1,400 treatments. Bell, who has worked in the tourism and leisure sectors in Ireland and abroad, said the concept was born when she decided to take a spa break.
