Headline lots in Morgan O’Driscoll’s Dublin sale chart the journey Irish art has taken over a century. Leading work is Walter Osborne’s Rags, Bones and Bottles, showing the seedy shops and barefoot ragamuffins on Dublin’s Patrick Street, circa 1891, expected to realise €80,000-€100,000. A second traditional highlight is Paul Henry’s Village By The Bog, a scene the like of which long disappeared from the landscape (€60,000-€80,000)....
