Oireachtas banking inquiry committee agrees terms of reference

The Joint Oireachtas Committee formed to look into the banking crisis has agreed the terms of reference for its investigation.

The Joint Oireachtas Committee formed to look into the banking crisis has agreed the terms of reference for its investigation.

The committee met today and agreed the final amendments for a proposal to the Dáil and Seanad committees on Procedure and Privileges.

The proposal will be sent to the Dáil and Seanad committees by the end of the week and it is expected that it will be debated in both houses by mid-October....
