The significant international oil industry interest in buying into Providence Resources' Barryroe oil find includes "supermajors and national oil companies", according to a leading London investment bank.

The "big oil" players are attracted by "Barryroe's substantial resource potential and Ireland's globally-attractive fiscal regime", the report from Jeffries said.
