There are signs that the economy might be on the road to recovery, and that's a story that everyone would like to spread, writes Catherine O'Mahony.

I suspect that, for the majority, a meaningful recovery will take more than a few positive economic reports from Europe.

After a couple of weeks' holiday in the west of Ireland I have returned to find a new 'R' word has entered the vernacular. No, it's not Recession (that is *so* last four years), it's Recovery.

And it's suddenly, blessedly, everywhere. What's with the economy? Why, it's recovering!
