Odlums Flour are to close their milling operation in Dublin within ten weeks, with the loss of 26 jobs. Staff at the industrial mill were informed of the closure by management last Thursday.

Odlums Flour are to close their milling operation in Dublin within ten weeks, with the loss of 26 jobs.

Staff at the industrial mill were informed of the closure by management last Thursday. The 75,000 tonne capacity mill on Alexandra Road in Dublin's docklands - which supplies flour to large bakeries around Ireland such as Irish Pride breadmakers - will cease production at the end of March, because the company can no longer compete with cheaper...
