Occupy groups plan global May Day action

A series of fresh demonstrations are planned for May Day in the US and elsewhere as the Occupy groups try to win more support on the biggest day of the year for unions.

Occupy Wall Street demonstrators, whose anti-greed message spread worldwide after an eight-week encampment in Manhattan last year, plan marches across the globe today calling attention to what they say are abuses of power and wealth.
