Occupy Dame Street targets Department of Finance

The Occupy protest movement has "locked down" the Department of Finance in a fresh protest against bondholder repayments.

"This morning at 6.30 am, in response to the payment of €1.25 billion to unknown bondholders of the former Anglo Irish bank, Occupy Dame Street activists peacefully locked down the Irish Department of Finance and will make every effort to keep the building locked down until 5pm," said Kathy McMahon, a representative of the group.
