Entrepreneur Denis O'Brien has submitted an indicative bid to buy Meteor, the country's third mobile phone operator, in a move that could see him re-enter the mobile telephone market.
O'Brien is believed to have submitted a bid in the last ten days. Analysts say Meteor will fetch between €300 million and €400 million.
