Telecoms millionaire Denis O’Brien has sought legal advice on the publication of a confidential document of preliminary findings by the chairman of the Moriarty Tribunal which differ from the final report issued last week.

Telecoms millionaire Denis O’Brien has sought legal advice on the publication of a confidential document of preliminary findings by the chairman of the Moriarty Tribunal which differ from the final report issued last week.

The document was issued in November 2008 by Mr Justice Michael Moriarty and was critical in particular of the role of some civil servants in the granting of the mobile phone licence to O’Brien’s Esat Digifone.
