An objection has stopped the development of a €30 million hotel on the Ring of Kerry, writes Michelle Devane. An Bord Pleanala has upheld an objection to the building of a four-star hotel on the site of the old Waterville Beach Hotel at Reenroe in Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry.
Eccleston International was granted planning permission for the 106-bedroom hotel, conference centre and leisure facility by Kerry County Council last year.
