Robert Ballagh's Birth of the Irish Republic, based on Walter Pagets' black and white print. Ballagh's print will have a limited edition of 300 at €350 each.

Robert Ballagh's contribution to events in 2016 is a modern adaptation of the Walter Paget black and white print entitled Birth of the Irish Republic.

This shows the interior of the GPO in Easter Week, 1916, with a wounded James Connolly on a stretcher as Patrick Pearse stands to his right.

A limited edition of 300 prints will be produced, each numbered and signed, priced at €350 each. The proceeds will go to the National Graves Association...
