Obelisk to add 100 new staff

Cavan-based telecommunications services group Obelisk is to add 100 new staff to its existing 50 employees within the next year, according to one of its directors.

Cavan-based telecommunications services group Obelisk is to add 100 new staff to its existing 50 employees within the next year, according to one of its directors.

Colm Murphy, technical director of the company, said that the new staff will include project managers, engineers, town planners, technical designers and radio planners. Obelisk specialises in the design, construction and maintenance of telecoms network infrastructure.
