President Barack Obama said greater trade with Ireland, illustrated by Ryanair’s agreement to buy 175 Boeing jets, will help drive growth in US jobs.
“This will be a major topic of discussion,” Obama said as he welcomed Taoiseach Enda Kenny for a belated St Patrick’s Day celebration at the White House.
Boeing and Ryanair earlier today announced the deal for the 737 passenger aircraft worth $15.6 million.
